Hello all.. How's your first day of the week going?
Do you find it difficult to pair neon? It might be too bright when paired with other neon colors yet you will not always wear it with black. Teaming your neon wardrobe with beige is another easy option besides pairing them with black. It tones down the brightness of the neon colors at the same time gives a sense of naturalness and elegance. So, are you ready to wear neon? These neon items are easily found with discounted price or low price in second hand shops because not so many people know how to pair them. Shop smart! Today we paired a graphic tee with boyfriend jeans. Do you see a fox or a cat on the tee? ;) To bring this sets to a higher level, we teamed them up with a faux fur vest and metallic pumps. Last but definitely not least, a striking cobalt blue eternity scarves (why eternity? so it will not be overlapped with the tee), a pair of running rabbits earrings, and some pieces of eclectic or any stunning bracelets and rings added up for the last touch. Hope you enjoy a soothing afternoon.. :) Happy Thursday everyone! The windy breezy weather lately inspired us to style a jumper in 6 ways. In 10-20 degree temperature, there is nothing better than wearing a jumper for running errands. This collared jumper is a little bit tricky yet very unique when nicely paired. Hope this gives you some ideas on how to pair yours!

Hello everyone! Finally it's Saturday morning! whatever you're up to, have fun!
This pairing is part of Jessica's request (sorry Jessica for making you waiting for so long..): whattowearwith leggings. She has some pairs of leggings, three of those are in black, white and pink color. Today is white's turn. We will be discussing how to pair black and pink leggings in our next posts. We think, like working on a white canvas, going random with colors, patterns and shapes is really fun and worth trying. You will be absolutely stunning among the crowds, since a bit higher dose of braveness to dress up is needed. It's time to browse your entire wardrobe, and show up your 'have been shy for so long' items. Play with stripes, polka, graphic, tribal, animal prints and whatsoever inside your closet. In this pairing we use a mix of white, blue, black and red colors. Try to build at least a connection to your mix, for example when you create black color as the connection, you can mix anything in any color and pattern, just make sure that they have black color, either in form of spot, words, graphic, stripes, anything. A few simple tips to make your legs look longer: show them up! Only wear tops that is a bit higher than your half thigh, not lower. to make you not to look bulky in layers: Choose lighter fabric if you want to wear many layers, Happy trying and happy weekend too :) This all-white trend is actually from 2012 runway. If you haven't tried once, this is the time! You will simply look stunning. Pick items that are unusual, quirky, or unique such as overall, word sweater, halter-neck dress, cropped tee and one shoulder top, You may also play with texture, like on scalloped skirt and lace shorts, as well as material complexity, namely beads, furs, snake skin, leather and glass.
Are you ready for a new month? ;) Childhood is a noteworthy and memorable time in everybody's life. It is full of memories so that it is to some extent shapes the persons we are today. We remember moments when we were playing around in the backyards, jumping on the beds, climbing the trees, running around the house and cycling with friends to places only we knew. It was full of laugh, happiness and freedom. Sometimes, like adults, we were worried and feared. Instead of about losing job or relationship break up, it was about our moms kept our candies, falling from our bicycles and our friends got stickers more than us. When we grew up, then we realize how good it was. Let’s bring our childhood memories back to reality! These illustrations are our second series of Hueynie's project, that as we explained before, to give you a glimpse of fashion design. As you may also notice in other fashion illustrations, the postures more often than not are always thin and tall as the heights are 9-10 times of the heads. We reckon this follows models' standard height, which is more or less 175 cm (5'9''). One of our favorite illustrators is Sabine Pieper, you can find her work here. Some illustrators, such as Kelly Smith, draw it too real until difficult to be distinct from photograph. On the contrary, Garance dore sketches are rather simple and clean. Different from technical drawing, there is no real standards in fashion illustration, you can even use bunny instead of human as your model like Fifi Lapin. You can see more from the experts in thefashionillustrator.com. Happy weekend! Keywords: vintage, classic and whimsical.
