Sister Style: Flare Skirt vs Pleat Skirt

Hello everyone :)

What are you up to this weekend? I have seen people have put movie tickets picture on the Facebook, too early isn't it? Maybe only for me. I have assignments and tasks pilling up this weekend :(

Anyway, it has been a while that I did not post sister style and it has been a looongg time I have not seen my sister, I think it is 13.5 months. The longest time frame we have not seen each other since we were born because we were used to share bedroom for 21.5 years. Maybe that is why we have so many things in common, haha, even though we fought a lot when we were children.

My sister and me are like these two skirts. She is the flare skirt with asymmetrical detail and I am the accordion skirt.

She is a little bit unpredictable and changes directions like sea waves. She sometimes calms down and the other times does have strong will either for herself or others. With her impulsiveness she pushes people to certain direction. Without her spontaneity maybe this blog may not be exist today :P.

In contrast, I am more like straight lines. I make plans and what I do today is because I planned it yesterday. I have my own lines so I do not follow other's lines neither persuade them to be on my lines. I can stand repetitive works and always make sure that everything is in the correct order. It is silly to admit but yeah I cannot see hangers in mix orders *shy*.

That is a little about us. How about you and your sisters?

Style Advice Corner: Whattowearwith Cuffed Pants

Hello all,

After a short wait, we finally received a reply from Isha. Glad to know that she is still so young, age range when liveliness, cheerfulness and playfulness are celebrated and maturity is developed. Unluckily we have to admit that  our previous post, about pleated skirt pairing is not for a 15 yo girl, LOL, but this post is.

Here is her message:
Hi,

Thank you for replying back; I have attached the two cuffed trousers, although the khaki coloured one looks like a tent, rest assured, it isn't. I am 15 years old and live in England, where it is prone to more than a little rain. I wouldn't say I have a set style, it's more casual and more dresses and tights rather than jeans etc; my style is feminine and almost girly. I would wear them on a regular day, if I go to the charity shop I do my volunteer work in and just chilling at home. I don't like wearing crop tops or sleeveless tops but I don't mind t shirts.

Thank you so so much,
Isha

For her feminine-girly style, we chose peplum, frill and crochet details; also, floral patterns. While tie front tops are meant to illuminate youthfulness and her casual style. Some handy basic items would be basic tees in a few colors as well as  basic cardigans as she does not like sleeveless tops. Collarless jacket, crochet vest and cropped vest (since Isha does not like crop tops, but somehow crop pants are great to be paired with cropped vest, to some extent it balances our height) can be augment items. Colorful and patterned eternity scarves are easy to wear especially to compliment basic tees. Besides that, darling pendants are not to be missed! Choose any of your liking but those of brass and gold color are easier to pair with any color. Finally, a colorful mini cross body bag, such as satchel and drawstring bag as well as a pair of pointy flats, she is ready to be a star volunteer. The last of the last points, :P, shoes with perforation, ribbons, cute patterns and ankle straps details can be great choice of shoes, because wearing cuffed pants will let her show details on her shoes up.

Have a great start of the week! and to Isha, hope you like it :):)
