1. Blazer and shorts 2. Blazer over shirt and shorts 3. Blazer over printed shirt and shorts 4. Blazer over (printed) shirt and shorts all in the same family color, such as baby blue. 5. Tie shoes or sandals 6. Shorts and tie shoes 7. Shorts and shirt 8. Baby blue and beige
Happy New Year 2014! Anyone has new year's resolutions? So it happened to us year after year that we thought we were going to do some style resolution in the new years, but nothing significant has changed *ouchh*. So no dream comes true without hard work and no plan will be achieved without commitment. But pushing ourselves too hard also would not make things work. Do you have the same problem? So it came across our mind that it maybe useful if we come up with weekly dose of style inspiration! yayy! We are going to find any interesting styling and try to apply it to our daily outfits. If you are interested, feel free to follow this weekly post.
This week is about styling basic shirt (especially the one in bright color), ethnic print skirt and gladiator sandals. You also can work it the other way, ethnic print shirt, bright color skirt or short and strappy sandals. Just make sure that there are some correlations between the color of the shirt and the skirt. For example, in this picture, the shirt and the skirt are from same color family which is orange, but the shirt has bolder and brighter tone. Do not forget to roll the sleeves up for more casual and modern look. A knot tie belt and multi layer bracelets are great little details to this look.
