2 years ago before I left my hometown, a close friend of mine gave me a pair of tennis shoes as farewell presents. They were all white with three red stripes on each sides, which made them such beauty. This pair of shoes was the most wonderful gift I ever had from a friend. Unfortunately, although I am not a heel person, I am neither a sneaker person. 2 years have passed, the shoes were kept safely in their box, only were worn twice or thrice a year when I did little afternoon walks. Until lately, all my flats , and boots, were worn out, so I thought until I find a new pair of flats, why not wearing my sneakers. I wore them for the first few times to work with that weird feeling, afraid whether it was unmatched with my outfits, as I never wore sneakers after I graduated from high school unless I did sport. I find these shoes very handy as I am used to run to catch my trains :P as well as stand long hours, so I keep wearing them.
Some of you maybe also find difficulties in pairing your sneakers with your everyday outfits as I am. Here are some ideas that I found about how to wear them.
ps: A few tips for you who think about buying one. In my opinion, lace up canvas shoes and wedge sneakers are the easiest ones to pair compared to real sport shoes, as the the real ones are mostly very sporty in design. Besides, material and color are also need to be considered, leather and canvas in neutral colors are the best.
